Espy Awards 2015

The Espy awards are an award show which recognize individual and team athletic achievement and other sports related performance during the course of the calendar year. Needless to say, the Espy's was a night of recognition as well as a night of star studded glamour for all of the people who attended. Throughout this post i'm going to go through the women's glamour choices of the evening.

First up I have Kendall Jenner. Kendall decided to wear a stunning black gown by designer Alexander Vauthier, from his spring 2015 couture collection. The stunning dress featured mesh detailing, sheer see-through panels, a plunging brassiere style neckline and kept the rest of herself covered in fine chiffon. Kendall paired the show stopping dress with a pair of black high heels designed by Stuart Weitzman. Kendall wore a pair of diamond earrings for the Espy's and left her signature dark brown locks down.

Kylie Jenner was spotted wearing a champagne gold colored dress which featured thousands upon thousands of gold colored sequins. The sequined dress featured full length sleeves on both sides of the gown and a high neck which brought out her facial features. Kylie wore a stunning pair of gold colored high heels and, just like her sister, left her dark brown locks down for the Espy's.

Ciara was spotted last night on the red carpet wearing a stunning dip dyed indigo to plum colored, Ellie Saab gown. The dress featured a traffic purple colored belt around her stomach and a very high thigh high split on the left side of the gown. She paired the purple delight gown with a pair of black, high strappy heels. Ciara left her signature black colored locks down in a low loose ponytail with tendrils falling around her face.

Grecian inspired: The dress was dip dyed with an indigo to plum colour at the bottom
Caitlyn Jenner was spotted last night making her first major public appearance since her transition.

Caitlyn decided to keep her outfit simple and understated by wearing a custom white Versace, floor length gown which featured long sleeves, and a V neck neckline. Caitlyn paired the outfit with a pair of silver high heels and she wore a single diamond bracelet on her left hand and a pair of diamond earrings. Caitlyn kept her signature brunette locks swept to the right side of her head to top off the entire outfit.

Halle Berry was one of the many talented presenter's at the Espy's last night.

Halle decided to sport a stunning black frock which featured bell cuffs in leather and also featured lace panels. The short dress also featured a flirty skirt bottom and the dress finished at her mid-thigh which showcased her lean legs. She sported a pair of black strappy high heels and topped off the outfit by keeping her signature brown locks down in soft curls for the outing.

Rachel McAdams might be suspected of dating her co-star Jake Gyllenhaal but that didn't stop her from being his date to the Espy's last night.

For the evening of sports Rachel decided to go for a very masculine look in a red suit, in which she wore nothing underneath the jacket. Rachel opted for a pair of black patent high heels. Rachel wore a ring on her left hand and she sported her short blond locks swept to the left side of her head.

She wore her brown hair in a messy updo and her makeup was kept simple.

Overall the Espy awards was a night that truly recognized the field of sports. I have noticed that a big trend on this years red carpet is that none of the fantastic woman were wearing necklaces the entire night.  I predict that later into 2015 a big trend will be that less and less people will be wearing necklaces on the red carpets. I also predict that the frock that we have seen a few women wear will catch on and be a big trend for 2015.
